Treatment of disintoxication and lymphatic drainage
The treatment of problems derived from a deficient lymphatic function
is one of the best secrets to obtain notable results in any aesthetic
treatment. In the moment in which the organism is liberated from
its toxins, It begins the process of ponderal reduction, of reduction
of volume and of improvement of the skin tone. An intoxicated organism
doesn’t react in the same way to the stimulus of any current
as that organism that has eliminated the first physiological barrier.
For this reason, the treatment of lymphatic drainage with AUTOMATIC
VITALTERM (DLDC) is especially recommendable as preparation or as
support of any treatment performed in cabin.
The lymph is a system that is extended as a parallel and independent
network to the circulatory system. In its journey it has operative
bases in which specific actions are coordinated to perform what
it has to within the correct functioning of the organism. These
are: the thymus, the spleen, the ganglia and lymphatic collectors
and the group of white globules of the blood.
The lymphatic system has two important functions. The first is
that of maintaining the balance of the tissues, regulating the interstitial
flow and the transport of macromolecules like proteins that, for
their elevated molecular weight, are not picked up by veinous capillaries.
The vehicle that transports these elements is lymph charged with
conducting them to the blood. The second, better-known function,
is that of main agent of the immunological activity. This work is
in charge of several cells, the T lymphocites, that detect any alien
element to the organism. If they find an intruder they send a signal
to the thymus that at the same time destines a contingent of cells
that investigate, attack and eliminate the invader. If this is not
enough, the B lymphocites intervene, which arrive from the spleen
to form proteins that neutralize the strange ones, converting them
into defenses for the future. But they can’t always triumph
and are defeated by microorganisms or malignant cells that produce
illnesses like AIDS or Cancer (metastasis) that, by being in the
lymphatic current, can be propagated to other regions of the organism.
As any system, the lymphatic needs cares that contribute to the
complying of its obligations. One of them is the regulation of the
excess of liquids in the loose tissue. To improve this activity,
the AUTOMATIC VITALTERM allows you to perform a type of Lymphatic
Drainage similar to which the lymphotherapists when they apply the
so-called manual lymphatic drainage, DLM. It requires a specific
procedure determined by the clinical history of the client and for
the quality of the tissue that it presents. This type of Manual
Lymphatic Drainage must be effected by a specialist who knows the
lymphatic journey as well as the characteristics of pressure, decompression,
force and rhythm that the massage has.
The treatment of Lymphatic Drainage by means of the AUTOMATIC VITALTERM
(DLDC) improves the functions of the lymphatic system with positive
results in four areas of repercussion: obtains draining, neuronal
effects over the musculature and in the defensive system. It improves
the functions of the lymphatic system with positive results in four
areas of repercussion:
In the nervous system, it inhibits the painful stimuli and relaxes.
In the muscular fibre, it regulates the movements of the intestinal
walls, for which it collaborates to solve the problems of constipation.
It tones the walls of the blood vessels and over the smooth muscle
of the lymphatic vessels, it stimulates the rhythmic movement of
the angions. Its incidence in the immunological system is not demonstrated
yet, but its beneficial action on the extracellular liquids allows
you to adjudicate to it the increase of production of immunoglobulins.
The draining action of the AUTOMATIC VITALTERM acts over the lymphatic,
sanguine capillaries and over the interstitial liquid. Amongst other
effects, it causes an exit of the liquid of the intercellular spaces,
by imitating the action performed by physiological automassage of
the tissues. This means that the molecules can be transported more
easily, with which the interstitial movement is improved. It activates
the lymphatic flow, it derives the lymph towards other functional
lymphatic areas and when an insufficiency of the system is produced
in a zone, it opens already existing vías and creates new
ones. Besides, by stimulating the nerve endings of the skin and
by cleaning it of detritus, it favours the absorption of medicines
and substances of topic application.
The AUTOMATIC VITALTERM acts directly over these physiological
effects, improving them internally. Their deep action activates
the ganglia, that are the centres of depuration of the lymph. These
are natural recyclers. They act as filters that release to the lymph
strange substances as particles of dust or metals, remains of cells,
bacteria, malign cells impeding their progress through the whole
organism. The cells that intervene in the immunological process
are big consumers of vitamins A, C, B6 and in minerals like Zinc
and chrome. Foods like garlic are natural destroyers of malign bacteria.
On concerning very large molecules (the haemotoxones), the AUTOMATIC
VITALTERM contributes to divide them into particles of less size
(the haemotoxins), that can be easily filtered and eliminated.
The difference between the Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and
Lymphatic Drainage by means of the AUTOMATIC VITALTERM (DLDC) is
punctual. While in the first manipulations must be performed to
accelerate the speed of this liquid, the DLDC produces that consequence
as a result of the effect of the current to which the tissues are
submitted. that consequence as a result of the effect of the current
to which the tissues are seen submitted. The haemolymphatic liquids
circulate at greater speed. Also, the metabolic increase incides
directly over the waste macromolecules cannot be assumed by the
veinous system to be eliminated, reducing its size through the –oscillation
of the current over them. In this way macromolecules are turned
into micromolecules that can be eliminated with greater ease.
While the DLM is a type of massage so gentle that it seems like
a cares, the DLDC is generated through the positioning of some plates
in strategic places of our organism. The sensation that is appreciated
is variable and can be null (athermal effect), a light tickling
(that indicates the circulatory activation) or a pleasant sensation
of deep heat (thermal effect). The two types of treatment are very
gentle, pleasant for the client and exercise a relaxing effect.
The Lymphatic Drainage technique through the AUTOMATIC VITALTERM
is a great support to the professional of manual lymphatic Drainage,
that knows the importance of this technique in the daily therapeutical
practice. The correct practice of the DLM requires a precise Knowledge
of the technique, Of the lymphatic areas and of the journey of the
lymph with its gangliar zones of drainage. The lymphotherapist must
know that the treatment is started in the ganglian chains of the
neck, end point of the lymphatic journey, in order to liberate the
accumulated liquid and in this way optimize the results, amongst
other things.
By including the technique of DLDC, the professional acquires a
valuable tool of work. The possibility of practicing the drainage
in a rapid manner eases the waiting rooms, improve your work as
a professional, allows you to reach more clients and reduces your
level of daily tiredness. Besides it provides you with probability
of acting in the interior of the tissues through the electromagnetic
effect that the machine generates. Far from what you might think,
the technique of DLDC is not at all in contrast to the DLM, for
which the therapist will be able to combine them always when she
thinks it is convenient.
It is interesting to also know how Lymphatic Drainage through AUTOMATIC
VITALTERM (DLDC) is differentiated from that which is generated
through other appliances existing on the market. In the first place,
it can be affirmed that the lymphatic drainage that the apparatus
of AUTOMATIC VITALTERM generates doesn’t have any comparison
with any lymphatic drainage performed by appliances that perform
a mechanical effect. Under this epigraph, the electrostimulaters
of low frequency with draining effect and the presotherapy are placed.
While these appliances use an external system to cause a bombarding
over the cutaneous surface and in this way stimulate the lymph,
in the AUTOMATIC VITALTERM there is a real internal step of current
that causes at the same time the combination of physiological effects
necessary for the disintoxication. Applying the accessories in a
correct manner, the speed of the passage of the blood and the lymph
is increased internally from the feet to the thighs and the function
of drainage and elinmination of the kidneys is stimulated. The extremities
are not submitted to a mechanical effect, but to the result of the
same increase of velocity of the internal reactions that have been
those that really have caused the circulatory veinous and lymphatic
problem by decelerating.
For this reason, it concerns a biological effect more natural than
that obtained with other types of currents, based on the biology
of the client. Neither can it be forgotten the dividing effect of
the current over the homotoxones facilitates that those toxins of
excessively elevated molecular weight (proteins...), can be filtered
from the lymph towards the excretory systems through its conversion
into homotoxins (of less molecular weight).
The treatment protocol is determined by the situation of the active
plates. The plates must be placed according to the extremities that
you wish to drain. You must always remember that the current flows
from the active plate (emitter of current) to the passive plate
(receiver of the current). For the treatment of lymphatic drainage
of the lower extremities, the placing of the plates is the following:
Treatment of DLDC in the lower extremities
The active plate: in the sole of the foot or in the internal part
of the ankle.
The passive plate:
OPTIONS
• In the renal zone (if you want to stimulate the filtered
of the urine, the better functioning of kidney and a more active
diuresis).
• In the ovarian zone (if you want to stimulate the elimination
of toxins from the points of drainage of the lower abdomen).
• In the inguinal region (zone of the abductor muscle, if
you wish to expose the inguinal lymphatic ganglia).
Treatment of DLDC in the upper extremities
For the treatments of lymphatic drainage in the upper extremities,
the active plate in the palm of the hand (or in the lower part of
the forearm, close to the wrist) and the passive plate in the internal
region of the forearm, (in the zone closest to the lymphatic axiliar
ganglia).
If it is observed that the adaptation of the active plate to the
limb is not correct, it is recommended to use gel covers that substitute
the blue protecting cover of the active plate. In this way a total
adaptation of the treatment surface is obtained.
The treatment guideline depends on the finality of the application
of the application of Lymphatic Drainage, Since it can be considered
as a treatment in itself or a complement to the treatments of reduction
of weight, of firming or of general disintoxication of the organism.
Two weekly sessions can be performed, of approximately half hour
duration. In this type of treatments, the therapy time must be prolonged
since it is worked with a placing of the plates in distal form,
which makes the treatment time increase. The power applicable must
be medium (50) or medium-high with the gel covers (80-90), since
the thermal sensation reduces. It must be the client who indicates
what power is more pleasant for her. The number of sessions to perform
depends on the opinion of the professional, but it must be begun
with 10 sessions. One session of maintenance per month is recommended.
This treatment must be performed as a minimum with an apparatus
that has two pairs of active plates to perform the treatment of
drainage simultaneously in the two extremities.
