Eye bags are characterized by an edema of swelling in the lower eyelid.
They can be caused by the accumulation of liquids, by a presence
of localized fat or by genetic origin. The treatment of eye bags
is a complex treatment.
In the first place, the bags of watery origen are due to a modification
of the parameters of hydric accumulation of the person that suffers
them. This organic alteration causes the antiaesthetic bags as manifestation
of the incapacity of the kidney to eliminate and drain the excess
of liquid. Sometimes, lack of sleep is what is responsable for the
bags of watery origin, tiredness or the excess of alcohol and tobacco.They
are, undoubtedly, the most common.
Very linked to the eye bags, is presented the swelling of the eyelids.
This aesthetic alteration is due to a deficiency of the lymphatic
microcirculation of the ocular contour. Maybe there is no relationship
with the bags, but it is aggravated with these. It is usually observed
on waking up, after a night of little sleep or after having slept
a lot. During the night liquid can accumulate that is easily drained
by pressing the connective tissue and that are appreciated visually
thanks to the multiple blinkings that activate lymphatic microcirculation.
A good life hygiene, with enough sleep, and avoiding the consumption
of alcohol is the best prevention to avoid swollen eyelids.
This variety of “watery” eye bags that is usually manifested
in the mornings on getting up is normally suffered when we sleep
too much in a position that favours the flow of humoral liquids
towards the head. For this reason, independently of the treatment,
you must advise the client affected by these bags that he or she
sleeps with a pillow that raises their head from the trunk.
In second place, the bags of fat origin are produced by an accumulation
of adipose tissue under the eyes. These bags can have their origin
in a multitude of causes, but the lack of emulsion of the fats by
the liver stands out. They are seen when the fat over which the
eye rests causes some little hernias, that press the connective
tissue and that are visually appreciated as bulgings localized under
the eyes. These bags are treated surgically in a permanent way,
but can also be improved with a treatment continued with AUTOMATIC
VITALTERM.
In third place, when the bags have a genetic origin, a permanent
aesthetic result cannot be guaranteed under any current technique.
The biology of the client is what determines their continual reappearance.
These cases have difficult aesthetic treatment. However, a paliative
treatment with Capacitive Diarthermia favours the drainage of the
exudates and significantly improves the appearance of the client.
To determine the origin of the bag is simple and is performed slightly
pressing the eyelid: In the case of bags because of fat, a constant
pressure is appreciated and the characteristic dimple is not formed.
The bags are, therefore, manifestations of internal disfunctions
with which they are related. Therefore, it is difficult to give
them a solution if the internal cause that originates them is not

The treatment of eye bags manages to improve the drainage of the
retained and of the exudates in the outline of the eyes. For this

of the edema for the retention of liquids.
The treatment consists of application of the appliance together
with an adequate cosmetological product for the nature of the bags:
For those of watery origin, you will opt for a product with draining
active principles or of orbicular treatment; for the bags of adipose
origin. The treatment consists of the application of the apparatus
of AUTOMATIC VITALTERM together with a cosmetological product adequate

a product with lipolitic principles. The cosmetological product
chosen must have a pleasant texture for its penetration. Priority
will be given to those cosmetics in gel form. The emulsioned forms

Next, the apparatus of AUTOMATIC VITALTERM will be applied such
as is shown in the adjoining diagrams. The application must be performed
with confidence on behalf of the operator, safety and decision.
The treatment of Diathermia must be performed under the individual
parameters of each client. The passive plate is placed between the
homoplates and must remain well-fixed to the body at all times.
As a general rule, the same pressure that the body of the client
exerts on lying down on the bed is enough to ensure total contact,
but even so you must prevent it from being moved. The application
of the apparatus must be performed in the whole ocular surface.
The speed of application must be medium and must always correspond
to the electrical characteristics of the treated tissue (extremely
sensitive, concerning the fine skin that surrounds the eye and the
great watery concentration of the eye in itself). Greater sensation
of heat is produced in those zones with greater bone presence: or
rather, the cheek bone and the temple. The power of application
must also be adjusted to these individual properties (20-25%) and
must be regulated continually throughout the session, according
to the subjective indications that the client gives.
The size of the appliers must be coherent with the zone of treatment
selected (The round plate of 33 mm of diameter is chosen by defect)
and the natural size of the factions of the client must not be exceeded.
The manipulation of the applier must be flat over the surface of
the skin at all times, adapting itself to the irregularities of
the client’s factions.
The recommendable standard of treatment is of 2 to 3 sessions per
week on alternate days. It is advised between 10 and 15 sessions,
according to the seriousness of the problem. The approximate treatment
time is of 10 minutes per session (between 5 and 7 minutes per eye
is enough). The treatment is completed with one maintenance session
per month.
It is recommendable to complete this treatment applying the active
plate in the renal zone (back) and the passive plate in the abdomen
perpendicularly in the case of eye bags of watery origin. In the
case of eye bags of adipose origin, it is advisable to apply the
plate at the height of the liver (back) and the passive plate perpendicularly
to the previous (abdomen) . This treatment must be prolonged for
20 minutes. Its aim is to stimulate the functioning of these organs
and contribute to the functions of drainage and cleaning of the
organism. It is recommended to perform hand massages or stimulation
of the organic functions of elimination by means of podal reflexology,
The results that have been obtained are better in the eye rings
of watery origin than in those of adipose origin. These last ones
are also visibly reduced on decongestioning the orbicular zone,
but its final treatment is usually surgical.

Introduce the appropriate product for the eye
bags by means of a massage with the fingertips. Put the conducting
gel on the surface of the ocular cavity with the help of a tweezer.
Apply the circular plate, with much softness, without pressing,
by the eye rings and eye lids for 5 minutes. Do the same process
with the other eye. |

| RESULTS |

| COMMENTARY |
The skin must be prepared before beginning the
treatment. For this it is necessary to procede to clean the
whole zone of make up, even the mascara of the eye lashes.
The power of the apparatus to apply over the ocular zone must
be low, concerning an extremely sensitive zone.
You must ask the client what is the cause of the appearance
of the eye bags. If with the result of some internal disorder,
you must warn ,her that they will come out again. If the problem
is genetic, it is very difficult that the eye rings disappear.
They can be improved, but they will always be noticed. In the
case of eye bags whose origin is stress, an improvement is observed. |
