• The therapist must first remove all metallic pieces, jewellery, watches or similar things to perform the treatment and must have the correct footwear.
• The client must pay attention to not touch or rub metal while the treatment is developing.
• The treatment that demands a placing of the plates in parallel mode (plates in different planes) it must not cross tissues with presence of metals and implants that can lead to a variation in their temperature.
• The therapist must make sure that the client doesn’t present any type of infection in the tissues where the treatment is performed, as well as open injury or any other injury that must be consulted previously with a doctor.
• In the tissues where there is no cutaneous sensitivity of this is reduced, the therapy must not be performed.
• The therapist must maintain her total interest and attention in the development of the treatment during all its extension. Also the steps of therapy must be developped as this manual presents or as taught in the specialized training course. The application of the therapy must be performed with safety and with precaution. It is advisable to question the client about the sensations that she experiences throughout the treatment.
